The LM list
The LM series is the plain form of the linear bushing: a cylindrical ball bushing that runs on a round shaft, housed by the buyer's own bore or by a unit from the same family. The line runs LM8UU to LM25UU, with LM8UU, LM10UU and LM12UU at its head — the small end of the list, where the volume is. The LM8UU is positioned for 3D printers, and the series generally is the small-automation standard: printers, plotters, engravers, small gantries and light linear stages.

Plain, flanged or housed
One shaft idea, three deliveries. The plain bushing comes first, pressed or slipped into a housing of the buyer's making. The flanged types bolt to a plate face where the bushing must locate or be serviced from one side. The SC and SCS units arrive in an aluminium housing block, ready to bolt down. The bushing inside the three is the same idea at the same shaft sizes, so a design can move between mountings without changing the shaft — but the order must name the mounting, because the three are different parts.
Ordering LM bushings
An LM order line is the code and the count per shaft. Bushings run in pairs or fours on most shafts, and the count per shaft — not just the total — is what keeps a machine set together through packing. Shafts themselves, and the shaft supports that hold them, belong on the same inquiry when they are part of the order; a bushing list against an unstated shaft is the usual half-finished linear order.
