Steel Ball Bearings
The core of the range: deep groove ball bearings in chrome steel and stainless steel, with miniature, thrust and thin-section lines, ordered by series.

Steel ball bearings · 6000 / 6200 / 6300 series · grades P0 to P4
Deep groove first: the core series
Deep groove bearings carry the general-purpose radial work of the range, and the family is organised as a set of series rather than a pile of codes. The 6000, 6200 and 6300 series cover the standard bore steps; the 6800 and 6900 series run thin-section; the miniature series serves small shafts and instruments; the thrust series takes axial load in one direction; and the flanged F-series adds a locating flange to the same deep groove sizes. Each series page gives its models in full.

Materials and the option frame
The standard material is chrome steel, with stainless steel carried as its own line for wet and washdown duties. The option frame is the same across the family: precision grades P0, P6, P5 and P4; seals and shields open, ZZ or 2RS, or customised; internal clearance C0, C2 or C3, or customised; and both metric and inch sizes, with the SR-series inch range sized by bore. An inquiry that names the series, the closure and the clearance has usually settled the item.
Where the family splits
Four sub-families are specified separately: the corrosion-facing grades under Stainless steel ball bearings, the small-bore series and their flanged versions under Miniature bearings, the 51100 to 51400 axial lines under Thrust ball bearings, and the 6800 and 6900 series, where the section stays slim as the bore grows, under Thin-section bearings.
