Mounted Bearings
Bearings that arrive as units: pillow blocks, flange units and take-up units with the insert already housed, in cast iron, stainless steel and thermoplastic.

What the mounted range covers
A mounted bearing is a bearing insert seated in a housing that bolts to the machine, so the unit arrives ready to mount and the shaft is supported without a machined bearing seat. The range covers the standard housing shapes: UCP pillow blocks that stand the shaft above a base, UCF four-bolt and UCFL two-bolt flange units that mount against a wall or frame, UCT take-up units that slide in a frame for belt tensioning, UCFB three-bolt flange units and UCPA light-duty units, each with its insert and its clearance options.
| Housing type | Code | Mounting |
|---|---|---|
| Pillow block | UCP | Base-mounted, shaft raised above the foot |
| Flange, four-bolt | UCF | Square flange against a frame or wall |
| Flange, two-bolt | UCFL | Oval flange where space is tight |
| Take-up | UCT | Sliding frame unit for tensioning |
| Flange, three-bolt | UCFB | Three-bolt flange variant |
| Light duty | UCPA | Compact light-duty housing |
| Stainless mounted | SUCP, SUCF, SUCT | Stainless housing and insert lines |
| Thermoplastic mounted | Plastic housing line | Plastic housings for washdown duties |
Cast iron, stainless and thermoplastic
Housing material is the family's second decision after shape. Cast iron is the standard line — the UCP206 example runs a cast iron housing with a chrome steel insert and C0, C2 or C3 clearance. Stainless units put a stainless housing around a stainless insert for food, drink and washdown lines. Thermoplastic housings serve the same wet duties at lighter duty. The two branches are taken in turn under stainless mounted bearings and flange bearing units.
The one-inch plastic line
One line deserves its own mention because it is specified as a set: a one-inch plastic mounted line — UCP205-16, UCF205-16, UCPA205-16, UCT205-16, UCFB205-16 and UCFL205-16 — positioned for the food industry, where the same bore runs through every housing shape in plastic. A buyer fitting out a food line can order the whole mounting set against one shaft size, and the inquiry should name the set as a set rather than as six unrelated items.
