The 6200 model list
The 6200 series is the middleweight of the deep groove family — heavier than the 6000 series at the same bore, lighter than the 6300 — and it is the series that general machinery, electric motors, pumps and conveyors order most. The model list runs 6200 to 6210. The family's photographed example sits inside this series: the 6205RS, a sealed 6205, which is as close to a default bearing as the range has.
| Series | Models | Closures |
|---|---|---|
| 6200 series | 6200, 6201, 6202, 6203, 6204, 6205 | Open, ZZ, 2RS or customised |
| 6200 series | 6206, 6207, 6208, 6209, 6210 | Open, ZZ, 2RS or customised |
Closures and the family option frame
Every 6200 model runs inside the steel family's option frame: open, ZZ shielded or 2RS sealed or customised; clearance C0, C2 or C3 or customised; precision P0, P6, P5 or P4; chrome steel as the standard material with the stainless line at the same codes where the duty is wet. The lighter neighbouring series stands on the 6000 series page, and most conversions between the two are envelope decisions, not load decisions.
Ordering from the 6200 list
A 6200 order line is the code, the closure and the quantity: 6205-2RS says the whole item. Where the code on a drawing ends without a closure suffix, the closure is genuinely open as a question — state the intended closure in the inquiry rather than leaving the line bare, because open, shielded and sealed are three different deliveries against one code.
